Public toilets

The Council operates a number of toilets at the following locations:

Ongar 
A free of charge traditional toilet block located in the High Street, open between 06.00 and 18.00. There is also a RADAR key accessible toilet at this location.

Epping  
A Universal SuperLoo located at Bakers Lane.

Loughton 
Universal SuperLoos located at Brook Path, The Broadway and Traps Hill.

Waltham Abbey 
A Universal SuperLoo located at Quaker Lane.

Buckhurst Hill 
An Automatic Public Convenience located at Lower Queens Road.

Universal SuperLoos are fully accessible toilet units available 24 hours a day. There is a 10p charge for use (free with a RADAR key). 

RADAR, the Royal Association for Disability and Rehabilitation, launched the National Key Scheme in 1981 to provide toilets for people with disabilities. A RADAR key can be purchased from one of the District Council’s Information Centres for £2.76. Information centres are located at the Civic Offices in Epping, the Town Hall in Waltham Abbey, 63 The Broadway in Loughton, the library at Traps Hill Loughton and the library in Ongar High Street.
