Special Collection and Large Item Disposal

Our waste contractor SITA UK operates a special collection service for bulky household items such as beds, chairs, suites, fridges, washing machines, etc.

Residents can arrange collections by telephone on 01992 564608.

There is a charge for the special collection service based on the number of items:
• 1 to 3 items cost £24
• 4 to 7 items cost £29
• 8 to 10 items cost £41.50
• 11 to 15 items cost £49

All metals collected (i.e. washing machines, cookers, tumble dryers, etc.) are all recycled.

There will be a reduction of 50% on the above rates for all residents over the age of 60.
