Currently in Essex there are over 29 community organisations who derive all or part of their income and activity from diverting waste for re-use and / or recycling. This includes over 13 active furniture re-use / redistribution projects and there are also over 200 individual charity shops.

WRAP

WRAP works in partnership to encourage and enable businesses and consumers to be more efficient in their use of materials and recycle more things more often. This helps to minimise landfill, reduce carbon emissions and improve our environment.
