Mobile phones

The use of mobile phones, for both business and personal calls, has increased enormously over the last few years.

Although there is some debate over the inherent safety of the phones themselves, it is clear that they have become a fact of life for many people, and the use of hands-free kits may reduce the risk.

Most importantly, mobile phones should not be used whilst driving, and calls should not be made or answered, nor text messages read or sent, until the vehicle is stationary and in a safe situation. In all situations it is important to concentrate on what is going on around you, rather than the call!
