Pest Control

We provide advice concerning the identification, prevention and treatment and to enforce the relevant legislation where necessary. Enforcement action is undertaken in accordance with the Prevention of Damage by Pests Act 1949.

The pest control service for this Council is provided by BICOL servicing an outside contractor working in partnership with us.

A charge is made for the treatment of all pests except rats and cockroaches which are free.

The charges are set out below (including VAT):
• Rats - Free
• Cockroaches - Free
• Mice - £29 (concessions for OAPs £14.50)
• Wasps - £42 (concessions for OAPs £21)
• Fleas - £29 (concessions for OAPs £14.50)
• Ants - £29 (concessions for OAPs £14.50)
• Carpet Beetles - £29 (concessions for OAPs £14.50)
• Bed Bugs - £29 (concessions for OAPs £14.50)
