Search Fees and Charges

All fees are valid from 1 April 2012 until 31 March 2013.

The approximate turnround time for Official Searches is currently between 4 and 8 working days.

Official search fees and other charges

Basic Official Search - (LLC1 and CON 29R) - £100
This fee includes £26.30 payable to Essex Highways on behalf of Essex County Council for reply to the Highways enquiries.

CON 29 O (Optional Enquiries) No's 4 to 21 inclusive - £10 each
NB A £15 administration fee is payable if any Optional Enquiries are raised seperately.

CON 29 Optional Enquiry No 22 - Common Land, Town and Village Green - £14
This fee is charged by Essex County Council to provide the information. NB A £15 administration fee is payable if Optional Enquiry No 22 is raised seperately.

Solicitor's own additional enquiries - £20 each
