Cripsey Brook Nature Reserve February 2009

Following a bout of heavy winter rainfall and snow melt the Cripsey Brook overtopped its banks. This led to temporary inundation of the meadows. It is a great example of how land manged for wildlife can help with safely holding flood waters.
