Development Control News	1APP the National Planning Application Form is now here, click here for more details from the DCLG website
	As of April 6th all applications must be made using the 1APP form, any applications not using this form will be returned as invalid.

What we do	Development Control deals with planning applications, enforcement of planning regulations and appeals against Council decisions. Development Control staff also give general advice on planning matters. Before starting any works or development, whether commercial or residential, it is important that you find out whether you require planning permission. Please contact planning services by email, by telephone or visit Planning Reception at the Civic Offices in Epping.

Current Applications	Development Control also manage the application process for Planning Applications that are currently being decided. They produce weekly lists of applications, which can be downloaded from here. As well as this list it is possible to use our system to search for specific applications, click here for the searchable listings. The searchable listing is 'real-time' so there is no delay in waiting for a list to be published.

Plans and Supporting Documents	Plans and attachments for applications will shortly be available online.

Delegated Decisons	Lists of delegated decisions that have been made on a monthly basis are available, these can be downloaded here

National Application Register	The Planning Portal produces a trial electronic listing of planning applications and decisions, this is available online by clicking here. Please note that this list may not be complete in all cases, as it is still under development.

Planning Appeals	A list of appeals lodged with the council can be viewed here. Our searchable system can be viewed here

Planning Enforcement	We can also take enforcement action against works or developments that have not had planning permission. Details how to report a breach of control are available online. What does Planning Enforcement do? How do I complain to Planning Enforcement?
