Harlow Council launched the Essex Manufacturing Excellence Club in July 2007. The Club has developed an annual programme of events to support the County’s manufacturing sector and provide the opportunity to network as well as transfer knowledge and expertise. Membership is free and the Network welcomes large and small companies from across Essex.
The Essex Innovation Network (EIN) seeks to build upon the Essex’s reputation for innovation. Working with partners it is seeking to create the best environment for budding entrepreneurs and both new and existing businesses, to exploit the full potential of their ideas and creativity.
The network comprises the following key strands:
Offering free high quality specialist business support to budding entrepreneurs who have innovative ideas that they want to develop
Support for early stage and existing businesses who are commercialising new technologies or scientific know-how or developing new approaches to engineering
The Essex Technology and Innovation Centre at Ongar is one of a growing network of facilities providing a supportive environment for early stage innovative businesses.
