At Epping Forest District Council, we help local groups, organisations and individuals to be successful in their chosen field by providing financial help, grant aid, to people involved in community work, cultural activities or sport.

Only a set amount of money is available every year so we give priority to groups whose activities support the Council’s work in our priority areas.
These may vary over time but typically might include some of the following:
Children and young people,
Safer communities,
Environmental projects,
Elderly, disadvantaged and/or disabled people,
Improving people’s quality of life,
Encouraging people to take part in cultural and leisure activities.
The Individual Grant Aid Scheme helps people who:
have a real talent for sport or the arts and who want to further improve their level of skill,
want to obtain a recognised coaching or teaching qualification in sport or the arts.
The Funding Advice and Information Resource (FAIR) Team offer free advice and support to all voluntary and community organisations within the Epping Forest District. The Leisure Bursary Scheme for Sports and the Arts is available for 13 to 25 year olds who live in the Epping Forest District.
