Scouts from the Epping Forest District, the Royal Forest Scout Fellowship, devised and built the pioneering and other attractions at the Energise sector at the World Scout Jamboree.
Epping Forest District Council Chairman Councillor Caroline Pond is shown with the team, including volunteers, Chris Hobbs, Paul Panagli, and the Chesher brothers, together with guide Ralf Pahl (from Berlin, in blue). RRSF Team Leader, Peter Medway of Loughton, was leading the water events at Alton Mere, Suffolk.

Chairman Councillor Caroline Pond said "I am very proud that so many people from Epping Forest have helped make the Jamboree such a success. We in Epping Forest have many connections with the Scout Movement, including its international HQ at Gillwell Park in our District, the transit base at our North Weald Aerodrome, and Baden-Powell's family associations with Loughton. Young people from all over the world continue to benefit from all this voluntary effort".
