Prince Louis Lucien Bonaparte was born on the 4th January 1813 in Thomgrove, north Worcester. He was married three times, first to Maria Anna Cecchi on the 4th October 1833, then to Anne Booker whom he had one child named Louis Clovis Bonaparte and finally to Clemence Richard on the 15th June 1891 in London. Louis Lucien Bonaparte passed away at Fano Italy on 3rd November 1891.
Career
Louis Lucien Bonaparte was the third son of Napoleon's second surviving brother, Lucien Bonaparte (he was Napoleon's nephew!). He was a philologist and politician, he spent his youth in Italy and did not go to France until 1848, when he served two brief terms in the Assembly as representative for Corsica (1848) and for the Seine (1849). His classification of dialects of the Basque language is still used. He also denounced William Pryce for having plagiarized the research of Edward Lhuyd into Cornish and other Celtic languages.
Relationship with Epping
Louis Lucien Bonaparte used to live in Loughton in High Beach and therefore related to the Epping Forest area.
