War Memorials

War Memorials are a visible reminder of those who have given their lives in the wars this country has fought, as well as important local historical monuments.

In this district the upkeep and maintenance of war memorials is in the hands of local town and parish councils.

There is also a registered charity, the War Memorials Trust that helps look after war memorials nationally.
