The Place Survey asked residents their views about life in their area in the Epping Forest District.
It helps to determine whether interventions in an area result in the right outcomes for local people, in terms of happiness, health and safety.
This report reflects on the findings of a survey of residents conducted by Ipsos MORI on behalf of Epping Forest District Council and the Essex Partnership. The findings in this report refer specifically to the responses of residents living in Epping Forest district.
The purpose of the survey was to gauge the extent to which the opinions of residents have changed on key National Indicator questions from the Place Survey 2008/09.

The Ward Profiles are intended to provide a data 'snapshot' of the Wards within the District.
The Ward Profiles (Key Facts 2) bring together useful data at a local level and have been prepared by Forward Planning Officers at Epping Forest District Council, supported by the Local Strategic Partnership.
They sit underneath the over-arching District Profile 'Shaping the Future' (Key Facts 1).
This information will help the Local Strategic Partnership to identify trends and issues within the District, which will inform the preparation of the new Sustainable Community Strategy.
The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) contains key data affecting health in the area has been analysed to show the health and well-being status of local communities and defining where inequities exist.
The Essex Partnership Portal brings together our key partnerships in one place. The Portal is a useful resource for partners to improve communication and share best practice with easy-to-find minutes, membership, and governance information. It also helps make the benefits of partnership working more accessible to the public.
