Essex has an extensive bus network with over 85% of journeys run commercially by independent bus operators and the remaining 15% funded by Essex County Council.

Bus timetables can be bought from District Council Information points at the Civic Offices in Epping, Trapps Hill in Loughton, the Town Hall in Waltham Abbey and Ongar Library.
