How to Paint…Rural Life

Saturday 10 February

Children’s workshop:

10.30am – 12.30pm

7+ years, £10

Adult’s workshop:

2pm – 4pm

16+ years, £10

Fields, trees, hay bales and horse; the Rural Naturalists painted them all…now it’s your turn!

In this artist led workshop, you will be painting in the style of the Naturalists.  You will study the work of the great naturalist painters such as John Constable and the Newlyn School, and be inspired by Epping Forest District Museum’s ‘Rural Life’ exhibition. These workshops keep creative learning light-hearted and fun and are very hands on!

Adults are welcome to attend with their children in the morning session or attend without children in the afternoon. Booking essential.

Booking opens Monday 8 January www.eppingforestdc.gov.uk/museum or call 01992 564226 (Monday – Friday 10am – 4pm)
