Loughton Conservation Areas SUGGESTIONS FOR OPPORTUNITIES FOR ENHANCEMENT These are Epping Forest District Council’s objectives for maintaining the character and appearance of the Loughton conservation areas. If you have any suggestions or comments you would like to make on how these could be achieved please add them below.   Q1 Ensure that new development is high standard and sympathetic to the character and appearance of the conservation area in terms of scale, massing, style and materials.
