Tenants and Leaseholders Panel
Do you want to be involved with Tenant Participation?
Would you like to know how the Council makes policy decisions which affect you as a Council Tenant or Leaseholder?
Would you like an opportunity to influence Council policy on housing, or estate matters before these policies are agreed?
Yes? Then why not join the Tenants and Leaseholders Panel.
The `Panel’, as it is commonly known, is the main representative group for Council tenants and leaseholders in the District. It is made up of representatives from other groups and meets regularly with senior officers from the Communities Directorate to discuss all kinds of housing issues.
The Panel is consulted on policy decisions and its views are incorporated into reports that are discussed at various stages of the Council’s democratic process.
This friendly an inviting group would like to expand its membership and are looking for volunteers who would be willing to attend around four evenings a year, helping them to give Tenants and Leaseholders a voice.
If you are interested in being part of the Panel, please contact the Councils Tenant Participation Officer Lorraine Gibson on 01992 564524 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Further details of the meetings scheduled for this panel can be found on the Residents Associations page.
