Clay Day

Monday 22 & Wednesday 24 October

11am – 3pm

£1.50 per child

All ages welcome

Come and play with clay. Our clay days are set up to give everyone a chance to create something, whatever your age or experience.  We’ll provide a lump of clay, tools and a work space, you bring your imagination. Build a pot, a boat, whatever you like. Our in-house artist will be on-hand to give you help and advice. This is a messy activity. Please wear old clothes or bring an apron. Drop in sessions can get busy. Please bear in mind that you may need to wait for a slot. At busy times, we have an allocated 30 mins to activity time.

Children under 8 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Description

Housed in a Grade II* listed Tudor building in Waltham Abbey, the museum tells the story of the district through its collections and displays.
