From Tuesday 12th May 2015 (please note there are no collections on Monday the 11th May) a new collection arrangement will be in place. From this date collections of your refuse (black lidded) wheelie bin, recycling sacks, glass box and food and garden (green lidded) wheelie bin will only be collected Tuesday to Friday. There will be no collections on Mondays.
As a result your collection day may have changed. Most residents will see a change to their collection time as well. Your collection frequency is still the same.
Food and Garden (green lidded) wheelie bin is a weekly collection.
Recycling sacks, glass blue box and your refuse (black lidded) wheelie bins is a fortnightly collection.
Please remember that your waste and recycling must be placed at the boundary (or agreed collection point) of your property for collection by 7am on your collection day. If you place your waste and recycling out late you may miss your collection.
Collections will be made from 7am to 6pm every day from Tuesday to Friday.
Please bear with us as we introduce the new collection arrangements. We request that during the transition period from 12th to 22nd may you wait one working day before you contact us to report a missed collection. This is because we may already be on our way to you.
Approximately 1 week before the change on 12th May you will receive a letter postmarked “Epping Forest District Council” giving you your new calendar with your collection day for the next 6 months. Please keep this safe and do not throw it away.
