A vacancy exists in the Governance Directorate for a Technical Officer to provide support for the Building Control Team.

A key element of this role is the ability to provide true technical support, by application validation including fee analysis calculations, advice & information and deal with general Building Control enquires in a prompt, courteous and helpful manner. This includes communicating with architects, building developers, solicitors, agents and members of the public regarding Building Control applications, Inspections and Building Control specific issues.

CHW44F Assistant Disability Engagement Officer

Salary £20,138 plus £840 Inner Fringe Allowance per annum.

36 hours, 1 year fixed term.

We require an enthusiastic person to support the development and delivery of sport, leisure and physical activities for people with disabilities. The person will support a project that provides a range of sports, leisure and physical activities throughout Epping Forest District for children and young people with disabilities. The person will also support the development and delivery of opportunities for adults with disabilities to be more active.

We are looking for a qualified or trainee Accountant (Attained Association of Accounting Technician Level or above) with accountancy experience to take on the role of Service Accountant within the Capital Accountancy Team.  Working closely with the Senior Accountant you will assist primarily with Budget Monitoring & Preparation, Final Accounts and various return forms. The post will also assist in other accounts at the discretion of the Principal Accountant: this will relate to the Office of the Chief Executive’s Revenue Account.
