CHW16 Administrative Assistant (Community Services)

Part-time - 18 hours

Salary £17,169 - £18,560 pro rata, per annum (rising to £19,238 pro rata, per annum) plus £832 Inner Fringe Allowance pro rata, per annum

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to work five mornings a week within the busy Community Services - Administration Team. Duties will include dealing with Limes Centre bookings, taking payments, course bookings and general enquiries both in person and via the phone.

GEF07 Planning Enforcement Officer

Full time – 36 hours per week

Salary: £23,166 - £25,694 per annum (rising to £26,556 per annum after 5 years continuous service) plus £832 Inner Fringe Allowance per annum

Planning Enforcement is a vital section of the Development Control department and has a high profile within the Council. The team manage a busy and varied work load dealing with breaches of planning control within the District.

We are seeking a well-organised and positive team member to assist in the enforcement of planning control in a wide variety of circumstances.  Experience of planning enforcement procedures would be an advantage. An ability to work with scaled plans and maps is essential. Knowledge of the Town and Country Planning Acts, witness/suspect interviewing and court experience would be desirable.

RAD10F Business Process Officer

Part-time 25 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9.30am - 2.30pm)

Fixed term – 12 months

Salary: £17,169 – £18,560 pro rata, per annum plus £832 inner fringe allowance pro rata, per annum 

Applications are invited for this part-time post located within the Business Process Team Office based within the Resources directorate. 

The purpose of the role will be to provide a corporate audio dictation, proof reading, word processing, database and spreadsheet service.  There will also be the need to use a variety of Council IT and tailored systems, such as Timebase and Aims.

RBE33 System Administration Officer

Full time – 36 hours per week

This is a career graded post with the salary ranging from £17,169 - £21,745 per annum (rising to £22,434 per annum after 5 years continuous service) plus £832 Inner Fringe Allowance per annum. The initial salary awarded will be dependent on the level of candidate’s experience.  

We are looking for someone to train as a system administrator and become part of a team responsible for the day to day system management and administration of the Benefits IT systems. You should have excellent IT skills, good communication skills, and good organisational skills.

Casual role over school holidays and potential hours during term time

The Council is looking to recruit new Community Activity Workers to support the delivery of its innovative, activities programme.

Candidates should have experience of working with children and young people from a variety of backgrounds, as well as be friendly, outgoing and have an enthusiastic attitude. A knowledge and understanding of the values and benefits of working in a community or sports setting would be desirable, along with the ability to work as part of a team.

6-10 week programme (hours can be flexible to fit around candidates’ commitments)

Epping Forest District Council is looking for a young person who is passionate about the Epping Forest district and would like to help contribute in improving their local community. 

Through the Young Ambassadors Programme candidates will be supported and mentored through a structured work programme that will help candidates develop key professional skills and gain an insight into the vital work delivered by Epping Forest District Council’s Community Services Team.
