Vacancy - Civil Enforcement Officer
(Based in Harlow)

Salary Range: £19747 to £23226            

 

The main aim of The North Essex Parking Partnership is to keep roads congestion free and keep traffic moving. In particular enforcement action is focussed on dangerous, careless and negligent parking to make all of the North Essex Parking Partnership areas a safer and more attractive environment for businesses and visiting customers as well as local residents.

The role is tough and will involve enforcement patrols throughout all of the areas of the parking partnership and walking for approximately 10 miles per day in all weathers issuing penalty charge notices to motorists parked in contravention of parking regulations.

The Council has a vacancy for a part-time Deputy Hostel Manager at our Homeless Persons Hostel for homeless families at Norway House in North Weald, Essex.  You would join a team of staff who monitor the well-being of residents ensuring they comply with the conditions of their licences.  The work also includes reporting repairs, collecting residents’ license charges and checking the safety of people placed by the Council in other temporary accommodation.
