The main aim of The North Essex Parking Partnership is to keep roads congestion free and keep traffic moving. In particular enforcement action is focussed on dangerous, careless and negligent parking to make all of the North Essex Parking Partnership areas a safer and more attractive environment for businesses and visiting customers as well as local residents.

The role is tough and will involve enforcement patrols throughout all of the areas of the parking partnership and walking for approximately 10 miles per day in all weathers issuing penalty charge notices to motorists parked in contravention of parking regulations.

The role

Epping Forest District Council’s Museum, Heritage and Culture Service have an opportunity for an experienced Manager to join its dynamic and successful team, in a maternity cover role.

The Assistant Museum, Heritage and Culture Manager is part of the management team responsible for overseeing both Epping Forest District Museum in Waltham Abbey and Broxbourne Borough’s Lowewood Museum in Hoddesdon, which is operated under a successful Service Level Agreement. This post has a specific focus managing the Museums, Heritage & Culture teams Resources and Development section, managing staff responsible for commercial activity, communications and marketing, exhibitions and collections development and programmes for the service.

Epping Forest District Council is looking for a young person who is passionate about the Epping Forest district and would like to help contribute in improving their local community. 

Through the Young Ambassadors Programme candidates will be supported and mentored through a structured work programme that will help candidates develop key professional skills and gain an insight into the vital work delivered by Epping Forest District Council’s Community Services Team.
