Summer Sundays
Every Sunday afternoon from 2 May to 26 September 2010
2.30pm to 4pm

Drop in workshops with an art and craft theme.  Different activities every two weeks.  Collect a catalogue on your first visit, then add a sticker to it each time you come and finish an activity!
No need to book, just drop in
Cost £1 per child
Events are suitable for ages 5 - 13, but an adult must accompany children at all times

Family Fun Day
Saturday 7 August 2010
11am to 4pm

Come along and enjoy our free family fun day.  Miraiker's World of Puppets will be performing the Three Little Pigs puppet show and Georgia Wisbey will be making willow herb crowns in the garden.  There will be the ever popular sandcastles and pond dipping in the garden too!
No need to book, just drop in

Summer Holiday Fun: Terrific Tuesdays
Tuesday 27 July and 3 August: Blueprint travel posters with artist Kim Pilgrim
Tuesday 10 and 17 August: Odds and Ends Printing
Tuesday 24 and 31 August: Clay Modelling
12noon to 4pm

Drop in workshops with an art and craft theme.  Explore printmaking with the power of the sun with Kim Pilgrim in weeks 1 and 2.  Use all sorts of odds and ends to create your own monoprints in weeks 3 and 4.  Make your own clay model inspired by the collections in the museum in weeks 5 and 6.
No need to book, just drop in
Cost: 27 July and 3 August free of charge, otherwise £1 per child

Session One 10am - 10.45am, Session Two 11am to 11:45am

Learn a nursery rhyme and make a craft so you and your toddler can enjoy the rhyme back together at home!  Contact the museum for details of sessions and dates

Free of charge but places are limited and must be booked in advance
Event lasts 45 minutes.

Under 5's and their carers only.  Carers must stay with their toddler at all times.
