The museum now has its own dedicated Local History Website for schools in the Epping Forest District

Here, you will find a wealth of original sources from the museum's collections and beyond which will help you explore the history of your part of the district.  There are original photographs, census returns and ordnance survey maps, as well as a Chronology showing 1000 years of history of the district and a fun interactive quiz.  New resources are being added all the time.

The resources in this section will eventually be moved to the new website.
