Community Schemes and Events

The Community Development Team organise many different community schemes and events to help make Epping Forest a more enjoyable and friendly place to live.

Events

Epping Forest Playschemes are an opportunity for children to have fun, learn new skills and make new friends.

Activities include sports, art and craft, drama, indoor games and exciting challenges.

All children to bring a packed lunch and wear suitable clothing and footwear.

February 2012 Half Term Playscheme

The February Half Term playscheme runs from Monday 13 to Friday 17 February 2012.

It runs from 9.30am to 3.30pm at The Alderton Junior School, Alderton Hall Lane,
Loughton IG10 3HE for children aged 5 to 11 years.

Cost is £12 per day or £6 concession.

Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment.

Neighbourhood Learning 2012 in Waltham Abbey

Emergency First Aid 6 hour course

Gain the confidence to cope with a first aid incident. Includes practical sessions in life-saving techniques, health and safety (first aid) regulations, managing an incident, common injuries. One-day course to be held in Waltham Abbey. Book and certificate supplied.
