Epping Forest District Council is recruiting Play Workers and Play Rangers to work on playschemes during the school holidays.

Playschemes run across the Epping Forest District for children aged 5 – 13 years old.  A team of Play Workers and Rangers will be required to supervise the children and organise various art & craft, sport, drama and music activities.

• Play Worker Rate of Pay £7.07 per hour
• Play Leader Rate of Pay £9.17 per hour

• 6 week volunteer programme
• Volunteer placement with a local youth group
• Gain valuable experience in organising activities for young people
• Work as part of a team
• Complete a Basic First Aid Certificate
• Awareness of Safeguarding
• Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
• A certificate from Epping Forest District Council

Plus an opportunity to gain credits to go towards formal certificates, such as Level 1 Football or Netball coaching.
