What does HealthWorks do?
HealthWorks aims to reduce health inequalities for young people by encouraging and supporting young people to adopt healthier lifestyles. An holistic approach to health and well-being is taken; including physical health and activity, emotional well-being and young people’s aspirations. HealthWorks also has an emphasis upon young people’s participation as a way of boosting young people’s well-being whilst also ensuring quality services and activities that young people want to use and engage with.

HealthWorks is a multi-agency project led by Epping Forest District Council and involves a range of key partner organisations such as: NHS West Essex, Tottenham Hotspur Foundation along with statutory and voluntary organisations working with young people in Waltham Abbey.
