The search will be on to find the Epping Forest District Council Citizen of the Year 2009.
This prestigious award goes to someone who has given their time and energy, on a voluntary basis, to benefit their local community. The award is open to anyone in the Epping Forest District. They don’t have to be well-known or involved in major events. It could be anyone, just as long as their efforts benefit local people.
The Council is asking people to nominate a person they feel fits the criteria and deserves recognition. There is no lower or upper age limit but employees of Epping Forest District Council and current serving Councillors are not eligible.
We will be accepting nominations from September 2008.
