For the purposes of the European Parliament the UK is divided into 12 regions. The Epping Forest District is part of the Eastern Region which covers Essex, Hertfordshire and all of East Anglia. The Eastern Region will be represented by 7 MEPs who are elected for a term of 5 years (the last European election was in 1999 when there were 8 MEPs representing the Eastern Region).
The full results for the region, including District by District breakdowns, can be found on the Huntingdonshire District Council website - click here for a list of the 7 MEPs.
Huntingdonshire District Council was the central count centre for the region.
