Remuneration Panel

The Remuneration Panel was established under the Local Government Act 2000, which requires all councils other than parish and town councils to establish a Remuneration Panel to advise on payments of allowances and expenses to councillors. District councils are also required to establish a Parish Remuneration Panel to deal with remuneration proposals from parish and town councils.
