Walkers with Epping Forest District Council’s walking for health scheme “Life Walks” held their annual Christmas lunch recently and raised £120 for donation to The British Heart Foundation.
A cheque was presented by walk leaders Maurice Day and Paddy Hutchings, accompanied by a group of enthusiastic walkers, to Roger Nuttal from the British Heart Foundation.

Life Walks offers a choice of five walks each week that cover the Epping Forest District, including a Saturday walk that is for all the family. The only qualification to join is to be able to put one foot in front of the other even if you can only do this very slowly.
For a diary of walks and a free voucher please call Karen Williams on 01992 564222 and leave your details or e-mail kwilliams@eppingforestdc.gov.uk.
