The closing date for nominations for the Epping Forest District Council Young Citizen of the Year 2009 is fast approaching. Forms should reach the Council no later than 4 January 2009.
Do you know a local young person who has done something of great benefit to the community or their school? Perhaps they have shown extraordinary commitment, energy and effort towards achieving a particular goal? If that young person is a resident of the district and is aged 18 or under, why not nominate them for Epping Forest District Council’s Young Citizen of the Year Award? The Young Citizen of the Year 2009 will receive their award at the Annual Civic Reception in March 2009.
If you know someone who fits the bill and deserves to be recognised, fill in a nomination form and make sure it reaches the Council’s Young Persons’ Officer by 4 January 2009. The forms can be obtained at Council Information Desks at Epping, Loughton or Waltham Abbey and Buckhurst Hill Parish Council Information Centre, or by contacting Lucy Eales on 01992 564096.
