Pupils from White Bridge Junior School recently visited the Civic Offices in Epping. They were welcomed by the Chairman of Epping Forest District Council, Councillor Anne Grigg along with other members of the Council including Leader of Council, Councillor Di Collins.
The pupils who were all members of their school council took part in a lively question and answer session and enjoyed a talk on democracy which was given by Ian Willett, Assistant to the Chief Executive.

A visit to the Civic Offices Tower also took place, followed by an enjoyable lunch in the Members Room, where each pupil was presented with a pencil case made from recycled car tyres.
Councillor Grigg said: “It is always delightful to meet with young people; they are so enthusiastic and interested when they come and visit us at the Civic Offices. I do hope that we will be able to host many more visits of this kind throughout my year in office.”
