Everyone Active is celebrating after an incredibly successful night at the annual FLAME Awards, run by the Fitness Industry Association (FIA). SLM walked away with three major awards including the Leisure Operator of the Year award for an unprecedented third year running.
The awards were all recognition of Everyone Active’s commitment to engaging with local communities about activity, innovation, driving teamwork and raising leisure management standards within the leisure industry.
After collecting the Leisure Operator of the Year 2012 award, Managing Director, David Bibby commented, “To win Leisure Operator of the Year is a huge achievement but to have won it three years in the row is amazing and completely unprecedented. The award represents the fantastic dedication and effort that our colleagues at Everyone Active put in on a daily basis both in our centres and at head office. I would like to say a personal thank you to every one of them for all their on-going commitment to the company.”
In addition, Everyone Active also won the award for Spark of Innovation (operator) 2012 for Everyone Active Online, its online activity platform that is free to join.
Everyone Active was formed in 1987 as Sports and Leisure Management Ltd managing just one leisure centre in the midlands. Today Everyone Active operates 78 leisure venues nationwide in partnership with 28 different local authorities and employs over 5000 staff members.
