- SX Urban Games at Waltham Abbey
The next big multi-sport event in the area is all set to take place this coming Friday in Waltham Abbey. Building on the fantastic success of last year’s W Fest, this year’s event has been tied in with the Essex-wide SX Urban Games.
Incorporating many elements of the W Fest such as skateboarding, BMXing and scooter competitions, DJing, hair braiding and nail painting, there will also be Healthworks Parkour/free running demos and taster sessions. Come and try this new and exciting activity that involves overcoming obstacles by leaping, vaulting and climbing.
The games take place at the Town Mead Leisure Park in Waltham Abbey from 1pm to 6pm on Friday 24th August. Entry to the event is free, however, there may be a small fee if entering into one of the competitions.
