Epping Forest Youth Councillors raised £160 for The Children’s Society at the Epping Youth Market on Saturday 8 July. Our Youth Councillors raised money by running a tombola with donated prizes whilst promoting the work by the Epping Forest Youth Council.

Epping Youth Market

The market encouraged young people aged between 14 to 24 that have designed, produced or sourced products or services for sale, to set up their stalls and take their first steps in business.

Youth Council

Epping Youth Council took the time to ask young people to fill out a survey about drugs to contribute towards their new Drug awareness project.

So proud

Youth Councillor, Annabelle said: “I’m so proud to have been part of the Epping Youth Market which showcased the excellent skills of our area’s young people. The Youth Council managed to raise an outstanding £160 for The Children’s Society Charity and took the opportunity to gather data from young people on local drug issues/concerns to help with our next project.”
