The Passing Places exhibition, exploring the history and culture of the travelling communities of Essex and Hertfordshire, is currently on show at Epping Forest District Museum.

Offering a fascinating insight into a private and often misunderstood culture, the exhibition includes a range of beautiful traditional handicrafts. There is also the chance to hear the reminiscences of travellers themselves, recorded and collected specially for the exhibition by Hertford Museum from whom the exhibition is on loan.

The exhibition runs until 24 October 2006 and admission is free of charge. For more information and opening times, please call the Museum on 01992 716 882.
