Description

Lifewalks is a walking for health scheme organised by Epping Forest District Council Community Services. Lifewalks is approved by local doctors and hospitals and the West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (WECCG).

Every week, Lifewalks offers a choice of group walks, led by specially trained staff. There are walks across the whole of the Epping Forest District so you will find one near you. You do not have to live in the District to join Lifewalks.

Walk 6 - North Metropolitan Pit Lake

Level A - These routes are on flat, hard surface paths. There may be a very short slope or a very short stretch of grass but that’s all so everyone can do Level A walks.

2.25 miles. Riverside and lake. EN9 2ED

Meet at:  LVRPA Hooks Marsh car park, nr Waltham Abbey

Surface:  Gravel and tarmac

Footwear:  Dry shoes

Gradient: Three short slopes
