About Us

The Epping Forest Youth Council is made up of 23 democratically elected young people, who are 13 to 19 years old.

The members of the Youth Council are all residents of the Epping Forest District and meet on a monthly basis to discuss issues considered to be important to young people. The Epping Forest Youth Council is non-party political, representing the voice of young people at a local level at public meetings and local events.

The Youth Councillors are regularly consulted with by the providers of key services for young people.
