The main aim of The North Essex Parking Partnership is to keep roads congestion free and keep traffic moving. In particular enforcement action is focussed on dangerous, careless and negligent parking to make all of the North Essex Parking Partnership areas a safer and more attractive environment for businesses and visiting customers as well as local residents.

The role is tough and will involve enforcement patrols throughout all of the areas of the parking partnership and walking for approximately 10 miles per day in all weathers issuing penalty charge notices to motorists parked in contravention of parking regulations.

Recyling Advisors

Job Description

Local Green Points are looking for Recycling Advisors for a resident engagement project based in the Epping Forest District. This will involve door to door engagement with residents promoting a brand-new recycling rewards scheme. Full paid training will be given, including detailed information about recycling services and the recycling incentive scheme. No previous knowledge of the waste and recycling service is necessary.

NNB08 Environment and Neighbourhood Officer

This is a career graded post with the salary ranging from £20,138 - £30,153 per annum (rising to £30,785 per annum after 5 years continuous service) plus £840 Inner Fringe Allowance per annum. The initial salary awarded will be dependent on the level of candidate’s experience.

Additional out of hours call-out payment also included.

As an Environment and Neighbourhood Officer, you will be part of a team of officers working in response to a wide range of complaints referred to the Neighbourhoods Directorate.  You will provide a uniformed presence and regularly tour a defined geographical sector of the district. Complaints will usually relate to (among other things), fly tipping (and related waste issues), noise (including out of hours), licensing enforcement, litter, illegal encampments, dog fouling, and a wide variety of other neighbour nuisance and anti-social issues.
