COT32F Assistant Housing Options Manager (Strategy)

Full-time 36 hours per week. Fixed Term to 31st March 2021 (with the possibility of an extension)

XCS09 Customer Services Officer

Salary £20,138 - £21,962 per annum (rising to £22,658 per annum after 5 years continuous service) plus £840 Inner Fringe Allowance per annum

This is a very busy contact centre that deals with all enquiries coming into the Council, with these predominantly being via telephone and email. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate excellent customer care skills and be able to enter data onto a computerised recording system at the same time. They must also be able to remain calm and polite under extreme pressure, whilst dealing with difficult and sometimes aggressive callers.

GEF08 Compliance Officer (Planning)

Full time: 36 hours per week, permanent

This is a career graded post with the salary ranging from £17,419 - £21,962 per annum (rising to £22,658 per annum after 5 years continuous service) plus £840 Inner Fringe Allowance per annum. The initial salary awarded will be dependent on the level of candidate’s experience.

Planning Enforcement is a vital section of the Development Control department and has a high profile within the Council, consisting of a busy and varied work load whilst dealing with breaches of planning control within the District.

The Council is looking to recruit new Community Activity Workers to support the delivery of its innovative, activities programme.

Candidates should have experience of working with children and young people from a variety of backgrounds, as well as be friendly, outgoing and have an enthusiastic attitude. A knowledge and understanding of the values and benefits of working in a community or sports setting would be desirable, along with the ability to work as part of a team.
