The Valuation Office Agency (VOA) are asking residents to check the information about their business property is correct.
Residents have until 31 March 2023 to check that the factual information the VOA hold about their property on the non domestic rating list is correct, and to let them know if it isn’t. This is known as making a Check case.
The VOA provide independent, impartial valuations and property advice needed to support taxation and benefits.
We advise our business rates paying residents to submit a check as soon as possible to ensure they don’t lose out on any reliefs or adjustments to their business rates bill.
