Only 2 weeks left to vote for Epping Forest District Council’s Doorstep Discovery: Wildlife Photography Competition.
How to vote
Visit the online gallery, open your favourite photo and click on the thumbs up icon.
Public voting closes at midnight on Monday 31 May 2021.
Wildlife on our doorsteps
The focus is on wildlife on our doorsteps: what is outside the window, front door or just over the road. There have been lots of entries across the 3 different age categories, with the youngest entrant being only two years old. All photographs have been taken within the district.
There are 3 categories:
- 10 years and under
- 11-18 years
- Adults (19 years+)
Prizes
There is a public vote and judges’ vote to decide the winners. 6 prizes are available in total, with tickets for the whole family to the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition next year at Epping Forest District Museum, and free workshops in this year’s Epping Forest District Council’s summer programme for the winning images.
This competition is part of the first Epping Forest District Council Festival of Culture which run from January to April 2021 and provided a platform for diverse, community-led cultural activities across the district.
