September is all about getting on your bike.
Cycle September across Essex
Throughout the month it’s Cycle September across Essex and the world’s biggest bike ride taking place on 12 September.
It doesn’t matter how far or fast you go, whether you are an ebiker or hanker after mountain bike adventure you just need to ride.
Cycle September is a fun, friendly competition to get more people cycling. It doesn’t matter if you ride every day or you haven’t been on a bike in years, everyone is invited and you only have to ride a bike for ten minutes to take part.
Take part and turn it into a workplace challenge
You can take part as an individual and with your colleagues – several of our employees have signed up already – and turn it into a workplace challenge.
Individuals and their workplaces can compete on local, national and global leaderboards to see who can earn the most points. And there’s prizes to be won too. Registration is free and only takes 30 seconds at Love to Ride Essex.
Points are earned for every mile and day you ride plus every person you encourage. The more points you earn the more entries you gain into the prize draws to win holidays, bikes, adventure vouchers and lots of other great prizes.
World’s biggest bike ride
The World’s Biggest Bike Ride is encouraging as many people as possible to get out and show the country how amazing it is to cycle. To join this inaugural event you can register at Cycling UK – World’s Biggest Bike Ride.
