Colourful march
A colourful march will take place through the streets of Chelmsford finishing with musical celebrations in Central Park.
Here at Epping Forest District Council we will fly the Rainbow Flag at the Civic Offices over the weekend to celebrate the diversity within our own community.

Essex Pride is an opportunity to reflect on how we recognise and support those from the LGBTQ+ community.

Chairman of the Council, Councillor Darshan Sunger reflects on how Essex Pride has grown over the years, saying:
As we come together to celebrate, it is important to remember the progress and challenges that the LGBTQ+ community have faced.
Essex Pride started off as a small event in 2003, now 20 years later the large-scale celebration shows how the LGBTQ+ community has grown and how Essex has successfully approached diversity and inclusion.
