

Get ready for RideLondon Essex, coming to the county in May 2022, by joining our cycling activities.
There’s something for all ages and abilities. These events are a great way to help improve your health and spend time with family or friends.
Family and children’s activities
Family ride
Our fixed route rides are ideal for family and friends to get out and enjoy and explore the Essex countryside by bicycle. Bring your own bike.
- Sunday 3 April and Sunday 8 May (both easy level)
- 10am – 12noon
- Lee Valley Fishers Green, overflow car park, Stubbins Hall Lane, Crooked Mile, Waltham Abbey, EN9 2EF
- Sunday 22 May (medium level)
- Meet at Green Acre Woodland Park. Kiln Road, North Weald, Epping CM16 6AD.
- For children 8 years +
- £10 per adult including 1 free child, any further children £3 each

Children’s BMX skills
An exciting and creative experience which develops freestyle skills such as jumps and wheelies. BMX, helmet and gloves provided.

- Children must be competent riders and over 120cm tall to use provided BMX.
Children’s mountain bike skills
This session includes bike safety checks, movement drills, balancing skills and fun challenges to enhance children’s confidence whilst cycling. Bring your own bike.

Adult activities
Women’s ride
Cycling is a great low impact activity that can help you get active and improve your health. This women’s only ride is approx. 10-18km (6 – 11miles) on relatively flat paths.

All day ride
This all day led ride to the Olympic Park and back is approx. 41.8km (26 miles) on relatively flat paths and generally traffic free.
