Epping Forest District Council, North Weald Airfield and Epping & Ongar Round Table are collaborating to present a fireworks spectacular on the airfield on Saturday 2 November.
Countdown to lighting the bonfire at 7:30pm will be led by Epping Forest District Council Chairman Richard Bassett and the fireworks display at 8:15, launched by Epping & Ongar Round Table.
“It promises to be a wonderful family fun evening and I am very happy to represent the Council as a partner in the event,” said Cllr Richard Bassett.
Gates open at 6pm with a children’s display at 7pm.
Entry is by ticket only, adult £5/child £3.
There will be a bar and hot drinks available, a selection of food stalls, including pizzas, carvery and donuts, to name but a few.
Firework display team Star Burst Effects will be providing the flashes and bangs on the night, with announcements and music by Forest Radio. Epping RAF cadets, North Weald scouts and Ongar scouts will be on site supporting the event.
Entertainment for youngsters, and the young at heart will be provided by Dave Sneap funfair.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, with a maximum of four children per adult. Only guide dogs are permitted on site and no sparklers are allowed.
