Route and stops
The service has been running in partnership with EFCT since its trail in January 2021, with links to Debden, Theydon Bois, Epping, Epping Green and Harlow. It replaced Arriva’s 87 route which ended in December 2020.
After a successful 3-month trial period, it was agreed to extend the service for a year from 1 April 2021.
The route includes stops at the Epping Forest Retail Park and 4 local NHS Covid-19 vaccination centres:
1. Murray Hall, 106 Borders Lane, Loughton
2. St Margaret’s Hospital, Epping
3. Lister Medical Centre, Harlow
4. Harlow Leisurezone, Second Ave, Harlow
COVID-19 safe
The service is COVID-secure, following all current government guidelines including mandatory mask wearing, reduced seating capacity, on-board sanitisation and a shielded driver compartment.
Journeys are required to be booked in advance to help adhere to social distancing rules and the demand of service. Fares are kept as low as possible. All concessionary passes are accepted within Essex County Council guidelines. Visit our DaRT87 webpage for more information.
