Epping Forest District Council in partnership with New City College is excited to announce a new initiative that provides free training courses and qualifications to residents of the Epping Forest district.
Fully funded courses
This program, made possible through UK Shared Prosperity Funding in partnership with New City College, aims to empower individuals seeking employment, retraining opportunities, or looking to upskill their employees.
All Epping Forest residents can access a variety of funded courses including Level 1,2 & 3 courses, essential skills, AAT courses and more.
Visit the New City College website to explore the courses available and enrol by the end of March 2025 to take advantage of the free training.
Residents can select any paid course on the New City College website. Once the applicant has provided evidence that they live within the Epping Forest district the course fee will be waived.
If you would prefer to speak to someone in person, attend the New City College open day on 25 January 10am to 2pm.
Empowering residents
Cllr Holly Whitbread, Portfolio Holder for Finance & Economic Development said:
This initiative is a fantastic opportunity for our community to enhance their skills and improve their employability.
By investing in training we aim to empower residents to enhance their skills and achieve their career ambitions. The free courses will also help to support local businesses and their employees in their growth and development.
