Get your business ready for when RideLondon-Essex returns to the district for one day, on Sunday 28 May 2023.
Opportunities for businesses
In 2022, riders were able to stop in Ongar for a short break without it affecting their race time. Cyclists were able to rest their legs and meet with their supporters, meaning businesses in the town benefited from the extra footfall.
This year riders will be able to stop in Epping, as well as Ongar, with the additional advantage that it is more accessible for spectators and supporters via the roads and London Underground.
Road closures
The full route has now been announced, with road closures in place on Sunday 28 May.
Not all roads will be closed for the entire day. Find the road closure map for more information:
One-day event
This year the event is 1 day only and will see more than 20,000 cyclists riding through the Essex countryside raising money for charity.
Further information
RideLondon organisers, London Marathon Events, can help with any event-related queries including access routes for staff and customers.
