Signpost people in the right direction
Cllr Holly Whitbread Portfolio Holder for Housing and Community Services said:
It goes without saying that the past few months have been difficult. COVID-19 has impacted our lives and our livelihoods.
There are people across our district that are feeling the negative economic consequences of this dreadful virus and unfortunately this is disproportionally affecting our younger population.
Epping Forest District Council is here to help.
To support those going through a difficult time we are establishing an online hub. This virtual hub will provide support and signpost people in the right direction to receive the services which they need at this difficult time. From the local jobcentre to foodbank to mental health support.
So if you do help at this time please reach out. It’s really important you get the help you need to help you get back on your feet. Thank you.
