We have produced a digital leaflet for residents to help them find advice and information about our services during the coronavirus outbreak.
This new pack gives information about updates to our services, where to find support for yourself and loved ones, as well as advice from the Government and NHS about dealing with the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Keeping it digital
Keeping this pamphlet digital allows us to update information quickly, as guidance from the Government changes, meaning you are kept up to date as those changes are made.
We’ve made it concise, so it is easier to share it with family and friends. Each section can be printed off separately if needed, making less waste.
Challenge yourself with new exercises to follow or join in with the Community, Culture and Wellbeing team’s Mini Challenges and see if you beat their scores.
It includes links to help explain coronavirus and what is happening to the younger members of your household.
It’s not all serious though. There are simple arts and crafts and creative educational ideas you can do at home with resources you already have to keep your little ones entertained. Create a scavenger hunt with household objects or make colourful collages with different words.
We’re still operating our community helpline to assist with any coronavirus concerns.

Support our residents during lockdown
Council Leader, Councillor Chris Whitbread said:
Our duty is to keep our residents informed of any changes to our services that will impact on them. We understand this is a difficult time for everyone and it’s not always clear where to turn to for support.
This new resource highlights the various services set up from Epping Forest District Council, across Essex and nationally, to support our residents and their families during lockdown.
